Huayhuash (pronounced: why-wash)

Love for the mountains may perhaps be a learned behavior. I was raised in the peaks of Colorado and I have revered those peaks as teachers and friends. They have taught me that Nature should be a capitalized word like God, Self, and Love. About 2 months ago I took an 8 day trek through the Huayhuash range of the Andes, which rests a mere 5 hours from my home in Huaraz. The experience reconfirmed my love for the mountains of the world.
